Helen soars to new high:
 
The sky's the limit for a Port Talbot Air Cadet who has achieved Gold Standard in Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. 
 
Flight Sergeant Helen Gullam, who has been with 499 Squadron for seven years, has been to London to receive her award.
 
It involved her carrying out community work, attending a week long camp in Gibraltar, and going on a four day expedition in the Brecon Beacons. 
 
Other successes for Helen who works for Andrew Scott in Port Talbot, included being named as best marksman or woman in Number 3 Welsh Wing. and being selected as best non-commissioned officer with 499 Squadron
