Flight One
9th October 2007
Aircraft Type and number: Tutor
No 1 AEF
Duration : 30 Minutes

Flight Description

This was only my second flight from No.1 AEF, all of my other previous flights were at numorous locations throughout the South West region.  After the pilot had carried out his pre-flight checks he asked me about my previous flight history.  Thankfully as I had just finished my gliding scholarship so I didn’t need to go throught the principles of flight yet again.  We just got up to 4 / 5,000 ft so that we could go through some aerobatics, the pilot took me through a refresher on the stall turn and had me carrie out a few aileron roll’s.  Shortly after we heard that the other aircraft were on the boarder of Cardiff's airspace carrying out aerobatics, so the pilot made a few jokes on our way back in as we were landing.
